Notable Research Paper Published on Measuring Black Carbon Yields from Gas Flaring

Ph.D. Candidate Brad Conrad and Professor Matthew Johnson have had a significant research paper published in the Environmental Science & Technology Journal.  This paper has important implications for international climate models, as it reports the first-ever direct field measurements of black carbon yields from flaring.  Presented results were based on field measurements taken in Ecuador and Mexico and supported by the World Bank (GGFR) and United Nations Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC).
