
Jan Gorski

Mr. Gorski is a senior analyst at the Pembina Institute working on technical and policy issues related to oil and gas, carbon pricing and renewables. He has expertise in methane emissions and leads the methane policy file across Canada. Jan brings to the board both a technical background in measuring emissions and policy experience. Prior to working at Pembina, Jan was a project engineer for Clearstone Engineering Ltd. in Alberta in which he lead domestic and international emissions measurement and reduction studies in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Gorski is currently serving as a committee member on the British Columbia Methane Emissions Research Collaborative Technical Committee. Jan holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, both from Carleton University.
