Meet the Team

Mr. Siriunas is a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in the regulatory air quality industry, including working on a variety of projects for the oil and gas community. Kristofer is currently the president and owner of Sirius Consulting Inc., which provides regulatory air quality services including flare assessments and emissions inventories. Mr. Siriunas has an in-depth understanding of gas flaring from his time as an air quality specialist and advisor at the Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board (ERCB) – now the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER). He has also worked on the CAPP Non-Routine Flaring Task Team that developed the dispersion modelling methodology which is still in use in Alberta. Kristofer brings to the FlareNet Board, a comprehensive knowledge of both technical and regulatory issues on flaring and air quality in the oil and gas industries. He received his Bachelor of Science (Math & Physics) and a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (Civil Engineering) from the University of Toronto. He is based in Victoria.
