Scott Seymour
M.Sc. Candidate, 2019
FlareNet HQP: September 2016 - June 2019
Scott Seymour graduated from Carleton University in 2016 in Mechanical Engineering while minoring in Earth Sciences and Mathematics. Currently, Scott is working on his Master’s degree, researching optical diagnostics of flare plumes under Theme 4 of the FlareNet Network. His research involves line-of-sight attenuation (LOSA) and tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) techniques to make simultaneous measurements of soot and major gas species in flare plumes.
